This story is misleading.
FYI: HIV is not carried by only gay men. There are other ways of contracting it. This piece makes it appear that every black woman who has contracted HIV has done so because of having sex with a closeted male partner. AND that if a black man has HIV, it must be because he is having gay sex on the down-low. This story (like most of the stories I've heard and read on this subject) seems to have a not-too-subtle agenda and comes across as a very opinionated and uninformed propaganda piece.
Black women are becoming infected with HIV at alarming rates, but it is misleading to try to pin it to the suddenly ubiquitous "down-low bros" phenomenon. This piece is better suited to right-wing AM radio.
