This was fun, informative and imaginative: fun because it talked about people having fun with a campaign, something easily forgotten in the devisive atmosphere of the last campaign ( I am so glad that one is over. Friends and relatives can safely talk to each other now.) And it allowed the listener to use their imagination about a times very different than our own. So... I liked it. Fun music too.- Candace Corrigan
Nicely produced piece on convention history that includes a sentence about looking through the rear end of a pig, (not literally, of course). This brings to mind many wry comments about conventions upcoming and past, all of which I will spare you. More to the point, this foray backwards is a pleasant balance for coverage on present day conventions, so expensively packaged for both viewer and attendee.
Probably best described as "Political-Lite" it's engaging and amusing enough to warrant some airplay. Given the obvious interest in the Presidential campaign this is a nice counterpoint to the hyper-critical, intense introspection that we face with most current material. It's folksy and informative.
Nice piece on the old days of the political convention. At least one thing hasn't changed - you can still listen to stump speeches and get drunk for free - perfect supplement piece for the upcoming convention.
