Eighteen and Voting
?I love it?. This piece because it is short, simple and cogent. Listening to this piece make me want to change my decision on politics. I feel that politics is a waist of time and that you really do not have a say in what really goes on. But listening to these kids, THEY DON?T CARE. They want to have people listen to them no matter what. These teens support reason on why they want to vote and feel the urge to fight until they get that special man, or that new upcoming woman on board.
I wish I could hear more 18 year olds sound so confident and ready to vote and exercise their vote. It sounds trite - one vote, what can it do...? If a million people who say that would actually vote - things would happen for the better... Fewer wars over resources and The Great Game would start... More kids would have lunch and health care... Fewer people would be hypnotized by the media, fewer people would be hypnotized by consumerism...

Simple but engaging sound rich spot could be used for stations to encourage youth participation in the upcoming election cycle.
