Civics 101, the podcast refresher course about how our democracy works, from New Hampshire Public Radio, examines several landmark Supreme Court cases that defined the role our government plays in individual liberty and equal access to education, marriage, opportunity, and freedom.

Each hour-long broadcast stands alone, and explores a different legal debate over civil rights, including the stories of the people behind the cases, from the consequences of Dred Scott v Sandford , to school segregation and "separate but equal," to Japanese American internment during World War II.

Civics 101 is designed for students and lifelong learners, to help people understand their civic responsibilities and rights, and the role the government plays in their lives.
