Civics 101: 2024 Election Toolkit
Series produced by New Hampshire Public Radio
Elections are vital to our democracy. But that doesn’t mean they’re simple. From election security to misinformation to gerrymandering, Civics 101 is your guide to how elections work.
Civics 101, New Hampshire Public Radio's show about the basics of how our democracy works, has five hour-long broadcast programs to help listeners prepare for the election.
Each broadcast touches on different aspects of the electoral process, including how to vote, how ballots are counted, how disinformation and misinformation work, and why we have the voting systems we do.
These broadcasts can stand alone, or air as part of a series, and are designed for a national audience, regardless of local and state election laws.
The information is relevant throughout primary season and up to Election Day. For more information about Civics 101, or the series, contact producer Christina Phillips at cphillips@nhpr.org or our show email, civics101@nhpr.org.
