WBEZ’s Curious City is a new approach to community-powered stories. The public poses questions about Chicago, the region and its people, votes on their favorites and teams up with WBEZ reporters to find answers. The outcomes range from videos to comic books to yes - radio stories! Here you can find a collection of our stories that relate to Chicago but have wider appeal.

"Filmspotting" is an hour-long program about film, including: movie reviews, interviews, top 5 lists, listener feedback and insightful film talk. Filmspotting is available on PRX by noon (CST) on Fridays. Promos are available on PRX earlier in the week.

Presented here are finalists from the 2005 Louder Than a Bomb teen poetry slam. The work of these incredible young writers is offered to you so that they might share their stories, break stereotypes, and speak the truth as they challenge both themselves and their audiences.

For the fourth year, the station invited competition finalists in-studio from this nationally-renowned teen poetry slam, hosted by Young Chicago Authors, and present these 24 pieces (all under 3 minutes) to you ? enjoy!
