Just for those of you who don't know, I (Vaughnjareya J. Faulkner, the one speaking), am a male.

As an avid Blink-182 fan, this piece caught my eye and my interest. I was expecting a run-of-the mill piece just talking about when the producer discovered the song and what it meant to them. And while this commentary did discuss that, it was much much more than just your regular "That's My Song!".

This piece is so cool because it uses music to talk about the producer's life. From discussing the issues of growing up and not feeling "right" or fitting in to discovering this song on a mix cd, this piece covers everything you'd want to know.

This piece is beautiful and fun and I can see it fitting in most any radio program. Here's hoping other youth can be inspired by the story behind this "celebration song"!!

I felt that tis peice was good because it was unique. It was very informative and unusual. This was in a good way though because it lets you know what is going on in this persons head. The song also ties very well to the person themself. Also i like the background to the song! we all have our first crushes and listen to a song that makes us like them more. I liked it overall cause it was real and different to listen tooo! Also this person has guts that i wish i had i could never tell that much about myself.

It kinda seemed like you were trying to squeeze in a short interview into a longer song, so there was too much of the song playing in the breaks.

There were really good breaks though. Like the short one that just had the song saying "I'm Not Like You" and then the interview continued. Stuff like that is awesome.

I didn't entirely understand the purpose of the piece. ANd I'm sure that if I did, it wasn't exactly relevant throughout the entire recording.

The editing was simple. But it was flawless, for the most part.

Keep up the good work!

I liked this piece. I liked it that it was truthful, sad, and had elements of humor to it. I wish I could hear more about the boy's present though. But still, well done.

That was so great. I liked it that the narrator was so honest about their experiences. The editing and music were well done, too. I can't wait to hear more of "That's my song!" pieces.

Your peice pretty good. I thought that it was good how you talked about how you got introduced to the song. But it would make your peice even better if you talked more about how you love this song instead of kind of going off topic, talking about your life that doesn't really have anything to do with how you love the song.

It was to personal, though that does keep listeners, sometimes. It wasn't my favorate but, with some more editing, it could be good.

THIS PIECE IS VERY INTERESTING. I LIKED HOW THE GUY/GIRL WAS COMFERTABLE TO BEING OPEN ABOUT BEING TRASGENDERED. I WAS NOT SURE HOW THE SONG REALLY CONNECTED EXCEPT FOR IT IS HIS FAVORITE SONG. IT WAS WELL PUT TOGETHER, THE SONG PLAYING IN THE BECKFGROUND AS HE WAS TALKING WAS GOOD. IT HELPED KEEP THE AUDIENCE INTERESTED IN WHAT HE HAD TO SAY.
